Patience is a virtue.

Irritable. Frustrated. Bothered. Upset. Pissed. Annoyed. Cantankerous. Edgy. Maddened. Sensitive. Irate. Just a few things I’ve felt today. I’ve found that keeping your cool and not exploding all over the world is a hard thing to accomplish sometimes. I also found that it’s the little things that eat at you more than anything. Someone chewing gum with their mouth open, the clicking of your turning signal, the scraping of silverware on a plate, someone who doesn’t speak English, feeling claustrophobic from wearing sneakers instead of sandals. Then people have the nerve to expect you to be polite and to smile. Screw you. Keeping composure can drive you insane. “It’s times like these, when silence means everything…”  Unfortunately, I have no idea how to combat this feeling. Count backwards from ten? Close your eyes and take deep breaths? Punch a wall? Scream? I guess its different for everybody. Personally, I enjoy a Hookah to myself and maybe my favorite Brand New CD or a good movie, or the company of someone intelligent. Hell, even writing this has helped a little.
